Description:
Truecrypt is a strong file system encryption available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.

The version 7.1a was submitted to Open Crypto Audit Project (technically, only win32 version was assessed), which has found no backdoors or critical issues in TrueCrypt.
The most important flaw found by the audit is the insufficient number of key derivation iterations, which may exposes weak passwords to brute-force attacks.

During first run, you can choose to install the "truecrypt" binary in /usr/bin, so that you can later use 'truecrypt' in your shell scripts for automated TrueCrypt volume mounting / unmounting.
If you like to let the PND ask you later again, just delete the file "DontAskForInstall" in the appdata directory

dimag0g, thanks! Your package runs great here on my system. Took a while to show up in the "System" menu section, though. I don't know why. Even after reboot it wasn't there at first. I started with pnd_run, tested creating container, mounting and dismounting. Works very well.

I have just compiled truecrypt 7.1a with wxWidgets 2.8.12. Hopefully I didn't mess up static linking, so truecrypt executable should run with firmware libs only.

I'm working on a 7.1a update right now, so I'd expect to have something by the end of the week. Could you add me as a maintainer?

Sorry, I wan't able to compile the latest version. I'll be happy to pass maintenance of this package on to someone who can compile it, or to do the packaging and uploading, if someone can supply the binary to me. :-)
